“Satellite” is a song by the Dave Matthews Band, released as the fifth and final single from their LP Under the Table and Dreaming. It reached #18 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. The song originally debuted on their album Remember Two Things. The song presumably evolved from an earlier song Matthews wrote entitled “After Her,” which can be heard on a 1991 bootleg. There are no known versions of “After Her” performed live by either Matthews or the Dave Matthews Band. The guitar part for this song evolved from a finger exercise that Dave Matthews used to do.

I decided to resurrect this site since I recently bought the domain for $1/year. Will I update it? Not sure. Will anyone visit it? Highly unlikely. Is anyone reading this? Nope.
Stay tuned!

Will it be my first hurricane or just another storm? It’s suppose to turn into one…

My Rosewill notebook cooler arrived today. I decided to watch the temperatures of my lappy to see just how good this thing works. My lappy had been on for a few hours – sitting a notebook that was on my couch. I had been backing up to my external since about 11:30AM… so it’s nice and hot. I turned on the cooler at about 1:23PM. Anyways, unlike I was told before I bought this, the fan blows air at the computer, it doesn’t not “suck the hot air out”… :pinch: Doesn’t really matter, that’s what I thought it did.
The backup I was preforming ended at about 1:35PM and I started another one at 2:00PM.

Here is the temp “after using the computer or a few hours” without cooler -> with cooler
Hard Drive: 42C 107F -> 35C 94F
CPU 1: 58C 136F -> 40C 103F
CPU 2: 58C 136F -> 43C 105F
ACPI: 58C 135F -> 42C 106F
Keep in mind this wasn’t a professional test (no, I don’t think it cooled down the CPU 20 degrees)… but you can see a big difference. And from what I heard, every degree (F) of a hard drive temp means 10% of it’s life. :fun:

Here’s my new 250GB 7200rpm drive for Lappy along with a new external enclosure and pouch (next to a CD for size comparison) that is now housing Lappy’s former drive (60GB 5400rpm).

My month long wait is over. I received a phone call today offering me a position as a website production intern! The recruiter I talked to told me some of the things I would be doing – some that struck me as great would be that I get to work with Walt Disney Imagineering, present projects/reports to executives :blink: , and join in on all other kinds of activities they have for me like backstage tours at the parks. Sounds like this might be fun! :biggrin: I’ll be working in the real life “Pleasantville” : Celebration, Florida. Depending on how fast the paperwork is completed, I may start next Monday or the week after. This shall be fun!

I was sitting here on my couch doing nothing as usual and I saw a little lizard running across the room. I’ve never seen one this small. So I put him in a little container and let him go outside. I took pictures!!
